I'm going to quote from the King James Bible, but the thoughts I'm going to express here are universal. I don't want to suggest that these ideas don't exist in some other book or religion.

A church is a person, and the following passages from the King James Bible express that thought:

Acts 7:48 - "Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet."

Acts 17:24 - "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands."

1 Corinthians 3:16 - "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
